What is ICAR-AIEEA?
The “ICAR AIEEA” stands for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission (ICAR AIEEA). It is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to facilitate admissions into undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various agricultural and allied science disciplines offered by different agricultural universities and institutions across India.

ICAR AIEEA Counselling
- Registration: Qualified candidates need to register for the counselling process on the official ICAR website. During registration, candidates need to provide necessary details and pay the counselling fee, which is usually Rs. 400.
- Downloading Counselling Letter: After successful registration, candidates can download their counselling letter from the official website. This letter contains important information regarding the counselling process and schedule.
- Choice Filling: Candidates need to log in to the ICAR AIEEA counselling portal using their credentials and fill in their preferred choices of programs and universities. Choices should be made based on their entrance test scores and preferences.
- Document Verification: Candidates are required to attend the physical document verification process at designated counselling centers. They need to bring their original documents and certificates for verification, along with self-attested photocopies.
- Seat Allotment: Based on the choices filled by candidates and their merit rank in the entrance exam, seat allotment lists are released by ICAR. These lists indicate the program and university allotted to each candidate.
- Provisional Admission Letter: Candidates who are allotted seats need to download their provisional admission letters from the ICAR AIEEA counselling portal. This letter provides details about the allotted seat and the process to confirm the admission.
- Confirmation of Admission: To confirm their admission, candidates must visit the allotted university’s campus within the specified time frame mentioned in the provisional admission letter. They need to pay the required admission fee and complete any further formalities.
- Final/Mop-Up Round: After the initial rounds of counselling, ICAR may conduct a final/mop-up round for any remaining vacant seats. This round is often held to ensure that all available seats are filled.
- Offline Counselling (if applicable): In some cases, participating universities may conduct additional offline counselling rounds to fill any remaining vacancies.
